  3. Q:  How can I run a.out format binary programs?

  5. A:  Direct a.out binary file execution is not supported.  If you have an a.out binary that you need to run, you may convert it to a Mach-O binary file using the atom(1) program.

  7. Note that this program is provided as a convenience; we do not plan to support execution of a.out binaries and there is no guarantee that the converted binary will run.
